Humans are hardwired for connection and naturally yearn to be acknowledged, loved and shown they belong. Groups are a great way to reduce isolation, build community and help individuals find their voice at any age. Find a group that’s a great fit for you!

Ready. Set. Grow.

It’s time to equip our children with emotional education. They study math, science and history in school … but they’ll learn self-regulation in our Ready. Set. Grow. group.

This group is ideal if you’re ready to help your child regulate their emotions, while simultaneously developing deeper connections within your family. We’ll provide tools to help your child express and manage themselves in healthy ways.

In the Ready. Set. Grow. Group children will learn to:

  1. Identify and communicate feelings
  2. Develop Emotional Intelligence
  3. Understand where feelings come from & how to communicate and how to manage them
  4. Practice empathy towards peers
  5. Use relaxation and mindfulness tools
  6. Develop healthy, effective communication as a family

Ages:  2-5 years old
Max. Participants:  10

When:
Wednesday ages 2-3 (9:30am – 10:15am) and ages 4-5 (10:30am – 11:15am) starting September 1st

Cost:
$65 dollars monthly tuition

Vulnerability Makes Superheros

Ready to encourage your sons to access their true emotions without the fear of being seen as weak? Let’s help young men work through sadness and pain without letting those manifest into anger and rage.

This group is ideal if you’re ready to help your son work through emotions while cultivating true self-confidence. We’ll provide a safe space and surround your children with peers who encourage inner strength.

In Vulnerability Makes Superheros children will learn to:

  1. Talk about feelings and feel pain as they arise
  2. Recognize emotions without fear of weakness
  3. Trust and love themselves

Bonus: Your children will learn the amazing power of giving back through participating in a Kansas City community service project!

Be You, Bravely

Children should be encouraged to get up after failing, overcome their mistakes and face hurt with strength. Let’s help your children to develop skills and daily practices that transform the way they live, love, and lead.

This group is ideal if you want to equip your children with strength, self-confidence and resiliency to bounce back.

In this group children will learn to:

  1. Own the power of positive self-worth
  2. Express authentic self & authentic connections
  3. Identify their unique skills and gifts
  4. Increase healthy communication
  5. Bounce back when life gets difficult
  6. Identify thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that interfere with living a wholehearted life

Bonus: Your children will learn the amazing power of giving back through participating in a Kansas City community service project!

Art Journaling Group

Empower your child to find their voice and own who they are! Let’s teach them to find love within and assure them that they have a powerful community to lean on for support.

This group is ideal if you want your tween and teen to have the courage to be imperfectly perfect and to become a strong, confident leader.

In this group tween and teen will learn to:

  1. Let go of anxiety, perfectionism, and what others think
  2. Spot unhealthy ways of coping and learn alternatives
  3. Use relaxation and mindfulness tools
  4. Implement healthy friendship skills
  5. Practice Self-Compassion

Bonus: Your children will learn the amazing power of giving back through participating in a Kansas City community service project!

* Closed Groups: After a closed group has begun, new members are not permitted to join during that session. We find this helps foster connection and ultimately motivate greater change.

Groups typically run for 8-10 weeks.
